had a 4-hour morning class smacked right on my first day of school. as usual, snooze the alarm clock for the umpteenth time before finally decided to wake up at 0745 for 0830 class. still not too bad. if it were me 2 years ago, i would've gotten up at 0715 perhaps? meh, losing my touch already. anyhoots, still managed to enjoy a few slices of chocolate bread and the usual fix of hot milo for breakfast.

so in class yh asked me if i want to join the global summer studies programme (or gss) and she was planning to go to europe. it's something like a very expensive versone of exchange student programme because we have to fork out the extra school fees in that chosen country's currency. among the places listed are austria (vienna univerysity. hoho), copenhagen business school and (surprise surprise) LSE.

both of us agreed that it would be cool to be able to put that line which says "studied at LSE" in mukabuka. not to mention, potentionally providing some conversational topics for my parents.

so after school it was fyp meeting. 6 hours worth of discussion and we've finally decided on the general framework. at least we have a direction now because i can really sit down now and start churning the introduciton part of our report.

flying back home on sunday! should i bring the big luggage bag back? =/ gonna have to bring the lomo back plus my new clothes and possibly smuggle some cny cookies and instant milo back here.


shall attempt but not try too hard to sleep early tonight
