paint bucket
i hate robbers.
i know no one likes them, and i would like to believe that no one likes to be one but they leave me no choice. technically i wasn't robbed (and if not for the phone call from sis i wouldn't have known about it ever. still, they stole my partially functional and remotely precious, abandoned laptop) but it's the sense of loss that's bugging me. yeah, i'm filled to the brim with empathy at the moment so it would help if you could just hear me out for a sec.
so i was telling this to the lifeguard and then in turn i was told that daylight (residential) robbery is rare here. and i thought that hmm, maybe i should shift my parents down here in the future (told ya i am empathetic at the moment. so much so that it scares me. that very thought about shifting my parents down scares me too, now.) but then again, things wouldn't be that easy.
it is like how the people living near an active volcano still live near the volcano because of the benefits they reap by staying near one (i.e. rich soil), and it's pobably costly for them to move. so in this case, the volcanic area is like that particular country i'm talking about (don't wanna name names) and the moving costs is definitely not cheap. and of cos, i'm still too young and immature to let my parents breathing down my neck anytime soon.
thus, i scrapped the idea (of moving my parents down) the following day.
oh yeah, my head was paint bucket-ed and so my hair is dark brown now :)
