你好
on second thought, chinese class wasn't as dry as i imagine it would be. halfway through one of the lessons, i secretly wished that my primary school teachers taught like this current chinese tutor of mine. but of course, the latter has a doctorate and slight traces of the oh-so-sophisticated UK accent in her english. and that confuses me because there is an obvious PRC accent in her mandarin. these two don't usually go together, you see.
i think i'm starting to enjoy this other module on maths. it's interesting because on one hand i'm learning how to find the greatest common divisor and on the other, it's ok even if i forget how to do it in the first place (we learnt it way back during early secondary school?) , cos they are teaching a whole new method which is more wonderful and no doubt faster.
school word aside, did i announce that i've moved into a single room? :D yesh i can has the room all to myself now and am in the process of making it more homely. i had to. because loneliness just accumulates and gains momentum by the second when you're thrown into a prison-like place. and thanks to all the room-warming gifts (you know who you are *wiggle eyebrows ), i now have a (fake) plant, a squishy non-cheapo nana cushion and a seat cushion for this plasticky chair i'm sitting on right now. lovely.
last but not least, i give you pea green and a preview of my notes in the making.
