and we can fly fly fly away
i am seriously injured, so much so that i really don't feel like moving at all. but then i still need to feed myself so i have no choice.
the truth is i am badly burnt from swimming.
yesterday, the lifeguard brought me to the swimming complex, which is unlike any swimming complex i've ever seen before. it's a freaking sunway lagoon inside and the entrance fee is less than two dollars? and the most awesome part is that they have a wave pool complete with donut float rental PLUS the normal swimming pool for serious swimmers.
so yes, our main objective was to teach the non-swimmer (non other than yours truly, for the uninformed) to swim. we did that for an hour. the lifeguard kept telling me that learning breaststroke is so much easier than doing maths. i hereby beg to differ, like to the max. which leads to my point here - i struggled for the entire one hour. oh well, at least i know how to relax in the water now. that is after taking in gallons of chlorine-filed water into my system, through both my mouth and nose (ouch).
we spent a total of nearly four hours in the complex. the rest of the time we spent completing our side mission for the day, which is to have fun til our pants drop. we didn't have our pants on so i suspect we had a tad bit too much fun under the sun.
anyway, in order to complete that side mission, we rented a donut float and went no less than four rounds in the lazy pool (capsized once), tried all the slides (tallest was about 5-storey high. i swear i could nearly pass out for one of the slides. it was freaking fast), caught 2 rounds of rain&wave in the wave pool. needless to say, being the failed swimmer, i clinged onto the donut float for dear life most of the time.
felt like a kid all over :)
