so i'm back at the island. dad called me on my phone yesterday evening and said take it easy. don't pressure on the A's.

now, if he were to say that to me 2 years ago, i would've taken it as an insult on my brain's capability. okla, maybe insult is too harsh of a word. but you have to agree with me, getting an A (or B, if the subject in question is BM, or involves BM essays pffft) in high school is like passing, no? failing to get an A just equals failure. because everyone's goal is to get an A. passing is not even a question.

it seems that this thought is not so valid over here now. seriously, not to look down on my fellow classmates, but i don't recall trying so hard (relative to now), or getting so stressed up to score for exams back at high school. either that, or i have bad memory.

i guess this is real education. no more child's play eh?

first paper tomorrow. ready to take on the world!
