stomach flu

i visited the doctor first thing in the morning today and you know what has the world come to? a generation of sick students.

miniature genting

the campus clinic opens at 8.30am, i reach slightly before 9 and they give me a queue number 10. the LED score board is calling number 4 when i'm about to take a seat at the waiting area.

anyway, it's my turn when i'm halfway through a stage of little big planet (good thing i brought my psp along). i knock on the door, greet the doctor (a lady. wow, rare). doctor says hi and gives me the tell-me-what's-wrong-with-you look.

try to avoid meaty and oily stuff, said doctor

and then the part where the doctor examines the patient's stomach arrives. that's part of the procedure but it's a nightmare to me (or the doctor, if you're a doctor). i suppose the doctor had a hard time feeling my stomach because i shudder big time whenever someone, anyone, touches my stomach or anywhere near it.

she must've notice how my stomach tenses up and apologizes like 3 to 4 times. and trust me, i have to try my very best to lay down still and behave, i.e. fight the urge to slap the hand away. i know, it sounds like a bad porn. but no, i didn't receive any spanking.

new year at pavillion

at the end of the day, i hope the visit will give my parents a piece of mind.
