wtf

i fell sick yesterday like i've never before.
the fever hit me first thing in the morning.
popped two panadols for that day and by the night it didn't get any better.
the fact that my stomach was upset at the same time didn't help.
by night, i didn't want to move. i just can't. every joint hurts.
i was hungry but i can't eat. i had no appetite at all.
knowing that my upset stomach will make me puke.
i drank very diluted oatmeal instead, which i got from a friend.
the journey to her room a few blocks away was torture.
i had to put something into my stomach.
i never like the taste of instant oatmeal.
but that was the most wonderful food i could have. french vanilla in flavour.
then i went to bed at 10pm with a sweater, 2 layers of clothings, long pants and socks on.
was searching for my skating gloves but didn't manage to.
also had a handkerchief on the bed with me.
it wasn't for the tears, i didn't have the energy to cry.
but for the droolings i tend to have while I sleep when I'm sick.
in the end, it was meant more for the sweat.
throughout the night, was shivering but sweating madly at the same time.
had the fan speed turned from point 2 to point 1 halfway through my sleep.
was thankful that i was smart enough to put on extra layers of clothings.
woke up halfway to have water and then fell back asleep just as easily.
it was the lowest point in my life here.

woke up around 6am this morning, before the alarm clock went off.
the fever and upset stomach were still there but felt much better.
had to rush off to an interview in the business district first thing in the morning.
took an actal tablet before leaving and stomach felt much better.
subsequently, the fever went away for a while.
after reaching my room, the upset stomach hit me again.
even while i was having my language oral test.
i want to blame the stomach for my bad performance.
Took one more tablet after that, right before I napped.
I've never taken so much medications on my own judgement before.
Four tablets in two days.
And to think that I got sick right before one of the big days I had here.
What the freak.
